ki Area is 2,250, the highest base elevation of any alpine or cross-country ski area in the state. Prospect offers great views and maintains 30+ kilometers of trails and there is an extensive backcountry trail system extending from Prospect's trails through the Green Mountain National Forest.
There are other ski options close to the inn. Within a short walk of the inn is Bennington College with many acres of land…great for cross country skiing before breakfast or in the evening. In Bennington, just minutes from the inn, Mt Anthony Country Club also offers golf course xc skiing and 30 minutes north of the Eddington House Inn is Manchester, VT known for its world class shopping. In Manchester area, one will also find Hildene, the beautiful estate of President Lincoln’s son Robert Todd Lincoln, which has xc ski trails.
