Whiteface Club on Lake Placid is a sister property with groomed trails
for xc skiing (both classic and skate). There is rental equipment for
xc skiing and snowshoeing at the Club and clinics or lessons are available.
Outdoor adventure programs can also be arranged with the inn Concierge.
Such programs might include an interpretive snowshoe hike with a guide
telling native American stories, transportation, and hot coco. Other
activities include evening snowshoe tours, guided cross country ski
outings, wildlife tracking, ice fishing, dog sled rides, and winter
hiking to the High Falls Gorge.
The Spa offers massage, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and facials. The Spa facilities include a 60-foot indoor pool, fitness center, steamroom and Jacuzzi, exercise classes, fitness walks, and personal training by appointment.
