There's snowmaking to cover one loop and the learning area at Great Glen. Instruction programs include the Learn to Ski with an hour and half introduction to any of 3 xc ski disciplines (track, skating, backcountry) that include rental equipment and a trail pass all for $45. The sessions are offered 3 times daily on weekends and twice on weekdays. The Group Lesson offers existing skiers a one hour session for further development of skills and techniques while the Private Lesson provides personalized coaching on any xc ski activity in a one-on-one. chili. SKIFABS is a weekly program for women taught by Sue
Wemyss, who is an Olympian and long time ski teacher. Check out the
full slate of special events and programs. A new package concept for a day of winter fun at Great Glen offers the T3-Total Trails Ticket that includes a trail pass for xc skiing and snowshoeing; xc ski or snowshoe rentals; all day access to the tubing hill, and a tour on the one-of-a-kind SnowCoach up the Mt. Washington Toll Road. Swap your rental skis for snowshoes and back again. Adult T3 is a $103 value for $69. Kids aged 5-12 is $79 value for $49. The T3 must be used on the same day.
Telemarkers, cross-country skiers, and snowshoers can take a snowcoach partly up the Mt. Washington Auto Road to 4,200 foot elevation at the treeline, then ski down; sightseers are also welcome on the snowcoach for a roundtrip adventure never to be forgotten. The resort also has a snowtubing park. CCSAA member.
