The Christmas Farm Inn (603-383-4313 or 800-HI-ELVES = 443-5837; www.christmasfarminn.com), is set on a hillside overlooking Jackson Village, NH. It has the personal touches of a country inn with the amenities of an upscale modern resort. The inn has a full service spa, restaurant and pub, fitness room, indoor pool, family rooms, spacious suites, and handcrafted cottages.

Upon entering the historic Main Inn that was built in 1786, one can smell the fragrance of balsam and pine mixed with apples and cinnamon. There are 9 guestrooms that are one-of-a-kind, each with private bath, flat screen TV, and phone. The large living room welcome to those that like to gather around the fireplace also has the inviting smell of home baked goodies . Other rooms in the Main Inn are the Mistletoe Pub, the dining room, library, and play area for kids. The Main Inn rooms are priced $163-195.

The Saltbox was built in 1778 and it has 9 guest rooms with private bath and phone. Some of the rooms have Jacuzzi tubs. Prices range $163-226. The Barn is a multipurpose structure with 4 large two-story condo-like spaces deluxe suites and a downstairs party area.

There are 8 Cottages on the gently sloping hillside, which overlooks Mount Washington. Each cottage, which is handcrafted and uniquely furnished can accommodate an entire family.

The Carriage House offers 12 new luxury suites with king size bed, 2-person whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, cable TV, wet bar, refrigerator, and impressive mountain views.

The Spa features Pevonia Botanica products and treatments include Swedish or hot stone massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and more. Treatment rooms have soothing waterfalls, candles, and music. There is a full size steam room or 7-shower head Kohler experience.

Directions from the south take I-93 to exit 23, right on Rte 104 East, left on Rte. 3 north in Meredith, Rte 25E for 20 miles to Route 16 North through Conway and N.Conway, in Glen take a right on Rte 16N and turn right and go through the Jackson covered bridge. Turn right at Rte 16B up the hill and the inn is on the right; from Portland, Maine take Rte 22W, Rte 114, Rte 25, Rte 113N, Rte 302W, Rte 16N.
