is a classic northwoods lodge on the Gunflint Trail outside of Grand
Marais, MN with a restaurant, lounge, game room, gift shop, liquore
store, and more. XC skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling nearby. There
are 6 lakeshore cabins, and 3 family villas.
The Lakeshore Cabins are available in a variety of configurations including 2 bedroom for couples to share, a honeymooner cabin, and 4 bedroom cabins. Each family villa has 2 bedrooms, full bath, TV dish, kitchen, and a gas fireplace.
Windigo
has a Finnish sauna and there are snowmobile rentals available on site.

The restaurant menu has sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and the only pizza on the Gunflint Trail.
Check in is at 3 PM and check out is at 10:30 AM. During holiday periods Windigo Lodge has a 3 night minimum and regularly 2 nights are required on advance reservations.
A
Minnesota Ski Pass is required to ski on state property and in many
other locations. It costs $5 for a daily pass, $15 for a season pass
or $40 for a 3-season pass. There are 1,750 locations to acquire the
pass in person or it can be done electronically, by phone or by mail.
