Winding Trails in Farmington, CT (860-678-9582)
has 21 km of groomed trails. There are equipment rentals and ski lessons
available. Retail and snacks in the day lodge. Trail fees on midweek
$7 and weekends $10 and for kids under 13 or seniors $5 midweek and
$7 on weekends. From I-84 take exit 39, west on Route 4 and right on
Devonwood.
White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield,
CT (860-567-0857) is a 4,000 acre nature center with many trails. There
are no services but the nature center is open Tues-Sun. On Route 202.
Pine Mountain in Hartland, CT (860-653-4279) with
15 km of groomed trails if open. Rentals and snacks in old barn.
Woodbury Ski Area in Woodbury, CT(203-263-2203)
has 20 km of trails with rentals and snacks in a day lodge.
